Toolkit for Why Talk About Whiteness

White people have come to expect a level of racial comfort. When that expectation is met with racial stress, DiAngelo explains the result can be White Fragility: “White Fragility is a state in which even a minimum amount of racial stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium.”
